An essential oil-based liquid product designed to support respiratory comfort in cattle, sheep, goats, and young animals. It can also be used during periods of heat stress and is easily applied by spraying onto the feed trough.
Respiratory stress in ruminants directly affects milk yield and growth performance through reduced appetite, decreased water intake, and impaired energy metabolism. Intensive housing conditions, seasonal transitions, and temperature fluctuations are among the most common periods in which respiratory stress is triggered. In young animals such as calves, lambs, and kids, respiratory vulnerability is also one of the key risk factors during the growth period.
Respire® supports respiratory comfort through the complementary effects of four essential oils. Thajel et al. (2017) demonstrated that a combination of eucalyptus, peppermint, menthol, and thyme oils helped reduce respiratory signs while also supporting the local immune response. Barbour et al. (2009) also showed that a combination of eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils helped reduce respiratory discomfort.
Respiratory discomfort can negatively affect appetite and performance. Support respiratory comfort in your herd with Respire®!
Dilute 1 mL in 10 liters of water and spray onto the feed trough.
It can be used during periods of increased respiratory stress, seasonal transitions, heat stress, and under high-density housing conditions.
The application method is highly practical: simply dilute with water and spray onto the feed trough—there is no need to gather the animals or apply the product individually.
Menthol creates a cooling sensation, helping animals breathe more comfortably and providing additional support during periods of heat stress.
Eucalyptus oil (1,8-cineole) helps thin mucus and supports the maintenance of clear airways.
Thyme oil (thymol and carvacrol) helps maintain respiratory epithelial integrity and provides support during periods of tracheal discomfort.
Japanese mint oil helps maintain clear airways and supports mucus balance.
