The formula's strongest, species-specific evidence comes from valerian root (Valeriana officinalis): a study conducted directly in cats demonstrated a measurable effect on the central nervous system through GABA-A receptor modulation. L-tryptophan, a serotonin precursor, contributes to the formula; magnesium and vitamin B6 are neurotransmission-support ingredients shown in studies to positively affect stress scores.
